Bathroom blaze

FIRE crews wearing breathing apparatus tackled a blaze at a house at Orford, Warrington.
The blaze was in a ground floor bathroom at a house in Rylands Drive – and firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish it. A ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the property. No-one was hurt.
In a separate incident, fire crews were called to Kingswood Road, Kingswood, Warrington to deal with a fire involving 50sq metres of grassland. A jet was used to extinguish the blaze.
