A MAN has been arrested for an alleged assault on a woman during an incident in the Wash Lane area of Latchford, Warrington, this morning (Monday).
The woman, aged 44, was taken to hospital with head injuries following the incident, while a 49-year-old man has been detained in police custody, following an allaged assault in nearby Prescott Street.
Passers-by saw a car, with smashed windows, surrounded by several police cars on Wash Lane and forensic officers in the area just after 9.00am today.
Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 154 of 11/02/13.
