TRIBUTES continue to come in for Nathan Taylor, the 18-year-old whose body was found in the Manchester Ship Canal at Latchford, Warrington, last week.
Students and staff at Warrington Collegiate, where Nathan was a student, are the latest to pay tribute to the tragic youngster.
Collegiate principal Paul Hafren said: “Students and staff at Warrington Collegiate are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Nathan Taylor.
“Nathan was studying for an Advanced Level qualification in Media at the college and was a popular and hardworking young man with a great sense of humour.
“Nathan will be sadly missed by all who knew him and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very difficult time.”
Nathan’s body was recovered from the canal at Latchford Locks on Friday – almost a week after he had disappeared after leaving a party at Bridge Bar, Latchford.
A police spokesman said: “The thoughts of Cheshire Police and the communities of Warrington are very much with Nathan’s family during this difficult time.
“Cheshire Police would like to thank all members of the public who came forward with information and offers for help while the search for Nathan was ongoing.”
Members of the public have been leaving flowers at the spot where his body was found at Latchford.
