Golf club lift approved

PLANNERS have given the go-ahead for the installation of a disabled lift in the womens’ changing rooms at Warrington’s Walton Hall Golf Club.
Existing internal walls will be re-positioned to enable the lift to be incorporated in the building while a small section of concrete floor will be remove to allow access to the first floor.
The golf club is located within the Grade 2 Listed Walton Hall, but planners say the work will have a minimum impact on the historic fabric of the building, preserving its special architectural and historic features.
