AN award for excellence in marketing was presented to a team from Warrington Collegiate.
Staff won gold at the FE First Awards for their Apprenticeship Marketing campaign earlier this year. It recognised their team work, efficient use of resources and campaign skills.
The award was presented at the College Marketing Network’s gala dinner at Warwick.
Collegiate marketing manager Laura Dowell said: “We were delighted to receive the award and the staff deserved the recognition for all their hard work.”
The campaign included both internal marketing, coverage in the local press and extensive use of online communications and social media networks.
Denise Williamson, assistant principal for organisational development, said: “Recommendation by students is one of the most effective ways of spreading the word.”
