THE Environment agency has downgraded flood warnings for parts of Warrington due to seasonal high tides and heavy rain with just one flood alert remaining at the Mersey estuary.
On Saturday flood alerts were upgraded to flood warnings, meaning flooding was expected.
A flood alert remains in place at Arpley Railway Bridge and Arpley Road and Fiddlers Ferry, including the Sailing Club, The Ferry Tavern.
