WARRINGTON Town have swooped to sign experienced midfielder Lee Parle from local rivals Skelmersdale United.
Parle, aged 29, was previously club captain at Marine, where he spent six years before joining Skelmersdale two years ago.
He was a key member of Tommy Lawson’s squad before picking up a knee injury at the back end of last season.
Now fully fit Parle has joined Warrington looking for a fresh start.
Manager Shaun Reid says Parle will bring valuable experience to midfield in a team which had an average age of just 23 last week.
“Lee is a very experienced player and is looking for a new challenge and we are delighted to welcome him to Warrington Town,” said Reid.
Meanwhile Warrington have bid farewell to fellow midfielder Luke Holden, who has taken up the opportunity of signing for Colwyn Bay in the Northern Conference.
Parle goes straight into Warrington’s squad to face table topping Mossley, tomorrow, Saturday, kick off 3pm.
