Thug bit victim's ear

POLICE are appealing for information following an assault which took place in Warrington.
At about 12.40am on Saturday (October 20)the victim, a 26-year-old man was involved in an argument with another man in the Bridge Bar on Maybrook Place in Latchford.
The offender grabbed the victim in a headlock and kneed him in the face before biting his ear. The victim was left with a serious injury to his ear which required hospital treatment.
The offender was ejected from the bar before leaving in a red vehicle, possibly a taxi.
Enquiries are progressing but anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to come forward. They should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111 anonymously.
