A PAYROLL giving scheme by Warrington bus company Network Warrington has raised £23,809 for children’s charity Barnado’s.
Local fundraiser John Hollis-Davies (pictured above) presented a certificate of thanks to managing director David Squire.
Mr Hollis-Davies said: “We work in the heart of communities across the UK, the kindness of Network Warrington’s employees could mark a real turning point in the life of a child in desperate need. We’d like to say a big thank you for all the staff’s continuing support.”
Mr Squire said: “The generosity and commitment of our staff in supporting charities and taking part in fundraising activities is stunning. Everyone is touched by the stories that Barnado’s tell us, and to be able to help those in need by paying just a few pounds directly from payroll deductions is a wonderful way to show our support.”
