Litter picking campaign

THE “Love where you Live” camapaign at Warrington is holding three litter picking sessions and looking for volunteers to help out.
On Saturday, October 20, Westbrook residents will hold their final clean-up of the year, meeting on Westbrook Crescent at 10am in a bid to rid the area of litter thrown into hedgerows by passing cars and pedestrians.
On Wednesday, October 24, local housing group Frontis has organised a “big autumn clean up” in Chapelford, starting at 10am in Houston Gardens.
Afterwards there will be free refreshments and sporting activities.
Wednesday, November 17 will see the final event at the heritage site at Barrow Old Hall, Great Sankey where the campaigners will be supporting Groundwork Cheshire and Stronger Together.
There will a clean-up of the site, together with coppicing and brush removal.
