AFTER more than 12 years service Yvonne Cook has retired as clerk to Lymm Parish Council.
At her last meeting members paid tribute to her work and presented her with a painting of Lymm Cross by well-known local artist Valerie Wright, bought with contributions from current and past parish councillors.
Cllr Ian Marks said: “Yvonne has been a very good clerk and has worked hard for the parish council and community. She has worked a lot of additional hours for the people of Lymm.”
New clerk from October is Geraldine Reynolds, who has lived in Lymm for many years, and is currently treasurer of the Youth and Community Association.
