THE first ever St Rocco’s Hospice Santa Dash will take place in Warrington on Sunday December 2 at Orford Jubilee Park – and anyone who enters before November 5 will be in with a chance of winning Warrington Wolves star James Laithwaite’s giant teddy.
The Santa Dash will be a 5k sponsored run open to anyone – with families especially encouraged to take part and do something different together.
Entry costs just £10 for adults and £5 for children – including a free Santa suit for Mum and Dad and a hat or reindeer antlers for children.
All entries received before November 5 will go into a draw for James Laithwaite’s teddy.
There will be a host of other attractions on the day, including Christmas story time readings for children with Warrington Libraries Service, Christmas merchandise and refreshments and health initiatives from Livewire.
Most of all, anyone taking part who raises sponsorship for their run will be helping to give patients at St Rocco’s a better Christmas
