FORMER Coronation Street star Steve Arnold was on hand to help celebrate the launch of new business premises for mobile tyre fitters Express Tyres, who marked the occasion by donating a cheque for £800 to local charity Claire House Childrens’ Hospice.
Steve, who starred as Ashley Peacock in “Corrie” has also become “the voice” of Express Tyres in a video and radio marketing campaign.
Express Tyres owner Dave Holden presented a cheque for £800 to hospice in the presence of the Mayor of Warrington Cllr Steve Wright.
Dave raised the money from a sponsored run.
Meanwhile Express Tyres have moved to new business premises at Big Storage on Manchester Road and now offer a fitting service on site as well as their mobile service.
