WARRINGTON Town FC have an exciting opportunity and are looking to recruit a Groundsperson with immediate effect.
This is an opportunity to become part of a dynamic project to deliver a Football League team to the town of Warrington.
The Groundsperson’s duties will involve full pitch maintenance throughout the year and minor repairs around the club facility plus a willingness to assist where necessary with other club activities/functions.

The ideal candidate should have
· Experience in sports pitch maintenance and be capable of delivering a first class playing surface.
· Some experience/capability of carrying out minor repairs.
· The ability to work unsupervised to an agreed schedule.
· Good communication skills are essential as the role involves liaising with team manager, operations director, community development officer and other club officials.
· It would be an advantage if the candidate lived locally to the Warrington area.
· An interest in Football and the development of WTFC.

For the right candidate the club can offer the following package.
A salary of circa £7000 per annum, flexible hours spread across the working week in the region of 25 hours in total. A pre-requisite is that attendance at the ground the following morning of any match played.
A Vice Presidents corporate package worth £500 plus a full league pass allowing access to any Evo Stik League games.
