URBAN regeneration partnership Warrington & Co is spearheading a major inward investment campaign in London to coincide with Warrington Wolves appearance in the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final at Wembley this Saturday, August 25.
Co-ordinated by Marketing Cheshire, and backed by Warrington Wolves, Warrington Borough Council and leading business brands in the town, the campaign will consist of high profile poster adverts appearing in London Euston station.
The campaign also has a local dimension, with similar high profile posters being positioned at Warrington Bank Quay Station, (pictured above) aimed at giving Wolves fans travelling down to London by train the perfect send off.
The campaign is in response to Warrington being recognised as the UK’s leading growth town, in a recent report published by respected think tank, Centre For Cities.
Peter Crompton, Chair of Warrington & Co, commented: “Warrington has long been recognised as one of the UK’s premier business locations, and the recent Centre For Cities report again provides confirmation of this. The London advertising campaign is just one of a number of exciting initiatives aimed at ensuring this positive message reaches important investment decision makers based in the Capital”.
Andy Gatcliffe, Chief Executive of Warrington Wolves, added: “We are delighted that Warrington Wolves has been able to work with our key partners to deliver this important marketing initiative for the town.”
