A BANK holiday fun day will be held on the afternoon of Sunday August 26 at Warrington’s Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub.
Warrington Borough Council, LiveWire and Culture Warrington, the new local providers for leisure, library and lifestyle and cultural services in the town have organised the celebration event in conjunction with the Wolves Foundation.
On the day there will be fairground rides, music, food stalls, circus performers, face painters and live demonstrations by the Foundation.
LiveWire staff will be hosting public tours of the brand new £32 million building throughout the day as well.
Running from 2-6pm, the day will have an extra-special twist if Warrington Wolves win their cup final match in Wembley the previous day.
In this event, the hub will be the start of an official homecoming parade route and will be where the triumphant team board their open top bus at 4pm.
The Mayor, Cllr Steve Wright will be at Orford Park officially welcome the team back to their home soil and send them on their way through the streets of Warrington to the town hall for a civic reception.
