The Warrington division of Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Trust is celebrating after receiving the prestigious Baby Friendly Award from UNICEF (United Nation’s Children’s Fund).

The award was presented by Anne Woods, deputy director of UNICEF Baby Friendly.
Avril Smith, infant feeding coordinator, said: “Our dedicated and passionate team ensure breastfeeding mothers have access to appropriate venues and facilities and work tirelessly to promote the health and wellbeing of mothers and their babies.”
