Electoral registration reminder

PEOPLE in Warrington are being asked to complete their electoral registration forms promptly – and before they go on summer holiday.
All households should have received their forms in the post during the past month, More than half have already been returned, but the council’s elections team is reminding people to return forms before they go on holiday.
The annual canvass of electors is being carried out earlier than usual this year due to the first Police and Crime Commissioners elections being held in the autumn.
People should check the details on the canvas form are correct and then register by using the telephone, internet or SMS.
If details are incorrect people can add, amend or delete the incorrect details and then send it back using the pre-paid envelope. People need to register to be able to vote.
