WARRINGTON Town’s hectic pre-season continued with another draw as they were held 1-1 at Cantilever Park by Glossop North End from the North West Counties.
Town dominated the opening exchanges and were rewarded after just three minutes when winger Jessy Roberts rifled in a rebound.
Warrington continued to push but couldn’t find an elusive second and the visitors scored just before the break.
Despite controlling much of the game Warrington couldn’t find a second goal as the game petered out for a 1-1 draw for the second consecutive game.
Next up for Warrington is the visit of Crewe United form Lisburn, Northern Ireland, to contest the Styles & Co Peace Cup at Cantilever Park this Saturday, kick off 3pm.
This is followed by the visit of Colwyn Bay from the Blue Square North next Tuesday, August 7th, kick off 7.45pm.
