Grappers are up for the Cup!

SUNDAY is an important day for Grappenhall Cricket Club.
The 1st XI have reached the Chapel Press Cheshire County League Twenty20 finals day, to be hosted by Neston Cricket Club.
Grappers have been drawn against the hosts in the semi-finals and, in the event of seeing off their Premier division opponents, will play either Hyde or Didsbury in the final.
The Grappenhall semi starts at 12pm and the final – when hopefully Grappers will still have an interest – will be around 3.30pm.
Grappenhall, currently top of division one, are the only non-Premier League side still in the contest.
The eventual winners will go on to represent Cheshire in the national part of the competition.
Anyone who wants to attend finals day should contact Paul Tyerman on 07912 966236.
