Man robbed on way to post office

A MAN was attacked and robbed as he was taking cash to a post office at Warrington.
Police today appealed for information which might help them track down the offender involved in the robbery in Hilden Road on Tuesday, July 10.
The victim, a 36-year-old man was walking along Hilden Road carrying a white carrier bag containing the cash at about 3.30pm.
He was approached from behind and pushed to the ground – and the attacker than grabbed the bag and ran off.
The offender is said to be about 6ft 2 inches tall, of thin build and of scruffy appearance. He had short scruffy hair with a thick brown beard and was wearing a light grey or white top.
Police have issued an efit image of the man.
Anyone with any information about the incident is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101.
