WARRINGTON’S annual youth carnival is joining forces with Warrington Music Festival this year to provide a bigger and better event.
Music and other activities will be taking place on various stages across the town centre on Saturday, July 14 and from dawn to dusk and will showcase positive activities involving young people.
Organisations and groups that support young people will also be on hand with fun and interactive market stalls displaying information and advice.
The youth carnival will be held on the Town Hall lawns and in neighbouring Bank Park.
There will be two separate stages, featuring local Under-18 performers and there will also be dance displays and workshops, fairground rides, BMX/skating display, a climbing wall and other interactive activities.
At Golden Square, the stage will feature Over-18 bands and at Warrington Market, the Youth Café stage will provide a platform for young acoustic musicians.
Numerous bands from Warrington and district are already lined-up to appear on the various stages, with a mix of music for all ages.
The event is being organised by Culture Warrington, Warrington Borough Council’s youth service and Score Creative Education.
