VARIOUS events are taking place at
Walton Hall and Gardens later this month (May) including a walk
exploring the areas industrialist past, a chance to help out on the
estate and the start of Sunday afternoon band concerts, which will be taking place throughout the summer.
Thursday 24th May 7pm – 9pm
OUR INDUSTRIAL PAST (Part 1)
Take a stroll through Warrington’s industrial past on this 4mile circular walk hosted by local transport historian Michael Jones. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
Meet at the car park
Saturday 26th May 10am – 12 noon
LEND A HAND
Join the Rangers and Friends of Walton Estate for this second round of painting the stables and aviaries in the Children’s zoo. Please feel free to drop in anytime during the event and wear old clothes and sensible footwear.
Please note in the interests of health and safety this event is only open to people aged 10 and above. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON BAND CONCERT
We’re hosting a number of band concerts through-out the summer months starting today. Feel free to bring a rug or chair.
Walton Hall will also be open serving cream teas downstairs or if you’ve a larger appetite why not enjoy a delicious Sunday roast upstairs.
