HEALTHY lifestyles are on the menu at a special breakfast event in Oakwood, Warrington.
The borough council’s east neighbourhood team is serving up a Change4Life event on Tuesday, May 8, where local people can come along and find out about what changes they can make to lead to a healthier more active lifestyle and to sample a free breakfast based on Change4life recipes and suggestions.
There’ll be a mixture of some hot food prepared by the council’s food ambassadors, and a selection of fruits and yoghurts.
Guests on the day can also seek advice about positive lifestyle changes from people from a wide range of programmes and services including Reach for Health, Stay on Your Feet, Stop Smoking and Leisure Warrington.
There will also be people from other organisations including the local children’s centre, Your Housing and the newly formed residents’ association, who will be promoting what they’re doing in the local community, what’s on offer and how local people can get involved.
The event is from 9-11am at the Oakwood Neighbourhood Centre.
