Dance spectacle to celebrate Olympics

0

THOUSANDS of people will join together to celebrate the return of the Olympics to Britain in a spectacle of dance, music and special effects at Warrington and two other venues in Cheshire.
The dynamic event called “The Moment When…” is a co-production dance project between dance companies, Cheshire Dance and Walk the Plank.
It will feature at three locations – Chester Racecourse on May 29 at 9pm, Tatton Park, Knutsford on June 15 at 3pm and Orford Jubilee Park, Warrington on June 16 at 10pm.
The Moment When… is a flagship project of the Cultural Olympiad in the North West and Big Dance 2012.
It is inspired by defining moments that change and shape the flow of life and will celebrate the return of the Olympic Games to the United Kingdom.
The three site specific events and the accompanying community engagement work will connect thousands of people through dance, performance and cultural celebration.
