A WIDE range of equipment to help people with sight or hearing difficulties will be showcased at Warrington on Tuesday, April 17.
An informal drop-in event is being held between 10am-4pm at the Centre for Independent Living, Beaufort Street Warrington
The borough council and Warrington Disability Partnership have joined forces to help raise awareness of a full range of equipment available to help people with sight or hearing difficulties remain as independent as possible both within their own homes and while “out and about” in their local community.
A full range of equipment will also be on display such as fall detectors, flood detectors, smoke detectors and epilepsy sensors.
Professionals will be on hand to give advice as well as a range of companies manning stalls to display their products.
Any who cannot attend but would like help or advice, can contact the Sensory and Telecare Team on 01925 443979 or Warrington Disability Partnership on 01925 240064.
