Jigsaw festival is back

CULCHETH is to have its second Jigsaw Festival in May – with the aim of raising money for charity.
It will take place at Newchurch Parish Hall on May 26 and 27 – following on the success of last year’s festival when £3,219 was raised for the church, St Rocco’s Hospice and the Breast Cancer Campaign.
The Jig Saw festival was the idea of three local women, Irene Johnson, Irene Bromilow and Sue Kadodwala.
They organised volunteers to donate and complete jigsaws of all varieties and more than 500 were completed, with many on display.
Anyone interested in helping out should contact Irene Johnson (01925 733748), Irene Bromilow (01925 763126), or Sue Kadodwala (01925 765652).
