Time for tea

MONTHLY Sunday afternoon teas will be served at Thelwall Parish Hall this summer – to help fund restoration work being carried out at the hall.
They will be held on the first Sunday of each month, starting from April, will will continue until Sunday.
This follows the success of a similar series of teas last summer.
Regular users of the hall will take it in turns to host the teas between 12 noon and 4pm. with the proceeds of each being divided between the hosting organisation and the parish hall fund.
On the menu will be freshly made sandwiches, home made cakes, scones and hot and cold drinks.
The first event will be hosted by the Parish Hall Management Committee on Sunday April 1.
