Six bin fires in one road

FIRE crews from Warrington were called out to deal with six wheelie bin fires in one road during the night.
The fires were all in Toll Bar Road at Orford.
No property was damaged, but fire crews say the fires were all started deliberately.

  1. It’d help if WBC didn’t insist that wheelie bins are all out on the road by 6:30am – which means that most people have to put them out the night before. How hard would it be to standardise the collection routes and tell each address approximately what time during the day their bin will be collected? That way most people would be able to put the bin out in the morning on the way out to work and still have confidence that they haven’t missed the bin men.
