TWO footbridges over Sankey Brook, Callands, Warrington are to be temporarily closed while the borough council carries out resurfacing work.
The work on Hume footbridge and Sandy Lane footbridge, is to start on Monday, February 27 and may take up to three weeks to complete.
Work will be carried out in phases in order to ensure that one of the footbridges is always available for pedestrian traffic. The restrictions will be in place as and when signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant contractor for the duration of the works.
Alternative routes will be signposted.
