Fire investigation at house

AN investigation has been launched into the cause of a house fire at Birchwood, Warrington.
Fire crews were called to a house in Ramsay Close and tackled the blaze with a hosereel jet.
The house was heavily smokelogged and crews used a ventilation unit to clear smoke and fumes from the property.
Fire engines from Warrington and Birchwood were involved in the operation.
In a separate incident, crews were called to Chaigeley School, Thelwall, where a tree was found to be on fire.
Crews from Stockton Heath used a hosereel jet to extinguish the blaze.
Anyone who knows how the tree came to be on fire is asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
