Masked raiders flee in family car

THREE masked men forced their way into a house at Warrington, threatened the occupants and stole electrical goods before making off in the family’s car.
Police are appeal for information from the public following the raid on a house in Tavlin Avenue, Dallam, last night (Tuesday).
It was around 7.20pm when the three men gained entry to the house, threatened members of the family and stole items including a Playstation, television and mobile phone.
They also took the keys to the family car, a black, 1 Series 05 registered BMW, and drove off in the car at speed, heading in the general direction of the M62.
Detectives are keen to speak to any local residents who may have seen anyone behaving suspiciously in the Tavlin Avenue area, particularly any cars or other vehicles seen in suspicious circumstances, between 7pm and the time of the burglary.
They are asked to contact Warrington CID on 101 or alternatively call the Crimestoppers hotline 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
