A ROPE rescue team from the fire service helped free a horse that was trapped in about four feet of water in Warrington, yesterday, Sunday.
The team from Knutsford joined fire crew from Warrington at the incident at 1pm in Hall Lane, Burtonwood.
Firefighters used farm machinery to rescue the horse which had fallen in the water.
