Temporary road closure

TEMPORARY road diversions will be introduced in Warrington town centre to allow a mobile crane to be positioned on the highway.
The order will be effective for two days from February 14 so that the crane can lift air conditioning units onto the roof of Marks and Spencer.
The prohibition of driving will affect Sankey Street, from its junction with Legh Street to its junction with Bold Street, and Hilden Square from its junction with Sankey Street to its junction with Regent Street.
It is expected the closure of Sankey Street will only be in operation between 7pm and 7am.
The alternative routes will be Sankey Street, via Springfield Street and Palmyra Square North, and Hilden Square, via Legh Street. Routes will be signposted.
