WARRINGTON Town Football Club has a new secretary at the helm.
Chris Henshall (pictured right) has stepped up from match day secretary to secretary with immediate effect following the departure of Keith Maguire.
Chris, who recently retired from full-time employment, has vast experience in non-league football having previously been with Runcorn in the national conference.
He has been a regular at Warrington as the club’s match day secretary for the past five years.
Chairman Gary Skentelbery said:”We are very fortunate to have someone of Chris’s calibre right on our doorstep as he lives within walking distance of the ground.
“He is well respected in non-league football circles and is a key member of our team.
“We would like to thank Keith for holding the fort during the past 12 months and wish him well in the future. He will always be welcome as a friend of Warrington Town and has provided the club with great service during the past year.”
