New health network

A NEW network has formed to help people find their way through the complexities of health and social care services in Warrington.
Warrington Local Involvement Network is an independent group comprising local people and organisations who want to improve health and social care services in the borough.
The group, which will develop next year into HealthWatch, is offering a one to one service to help people navigate the care system in Warrington.
It offers a range of advice on people’s rights and choices and help on accessing services.
In addition to working with people on a one to one basis, over the phone or by email, the group also runs a drop-in service.
This takes place every Thursday at The Gateway from 4pm to 6pm. Refreshments are provided.
Further details about services are available from Anne Hignell, care navigation officer, at Warrington LINk, The Gateway, 89 Sankey Street, by phoning 01925 246894 or email [email protected]
