WARRINGTON Town have parted company with young midfielder Sam Finley by mutual consent.
Sam aged 19, joined Warrington on loan from Southport three seasons ago and became a regular in the first team last season, attracting attention from a number of clubs.
Earlier this season he was placed on the transfer list but eventually opted to stay at Warrington but failed to settle, missing a number of games through suspension.
Town manager Joey Dunn said: “Sam is a great young talent and we wish him well for the future. After much heart searching we decided it was probably best all round if Sam had a fresh start.”
