Man's jaw fractured in attack

A MAN suffered a fractured jaw at Warrington when he was attacked by a gang of thugs in the early hours of the morning.
The 22-year-old victim was taken to Warrington Hospital for treatment after the incident in Liverpool Road at about 12.10am on Sunday.
He was standing outside a social club with a group of friends when he was attacked by a number of men.
One man punched him in the face – and he was then punched by a number of other men.
He suffered a fractured jaw, a black eye and a broken nose as a result of the incident.
He was discharged after treatment at hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who knows the identity of the offenders to call them on 101.
