Council concern over shop plan

0

MEMBERS of Stockton Heath Parish Council have expressed concern at proposals to convert a house into a shop in the village.
The plan involves changing the use of of the ground floor of the house in London Road, Stockton Heath, with an apartment above and a two-storey extension at the rear to create an additional dwelling.
Councillors say the welcome proposals to improve a dilapidated property and fully support thye proposed change of the existing house to retail use with an apartment above.
But they question the additional dwelling at the rear which appears to be contrary the policy on managing the housing supply in the borough.
