LIBRARY goers at Orford, Warrington are being offered a whole range of fun things to do on Saturday, January 7.
Activities at Orford Library, on Poplars Avenue, include Zumba from 11.30-12pm, a rowing competition, holistic therapies including head and shoulder massage, story and craft activities and the opportunity to meet your local Police Community Support Officer and get drug and alcohol awareness advice.
There will also be a display of Warrington Wolves player’s favourite books such as Simon Grix’s favourite “The Hobbit” captain Adrian Morley’s top read “Coming Clean: the Terry Newton autiobiography”.
There’s also a lucky draw. People who borrow a book from the health display could win a prize if their book holds the winning secret code!
Cllr Kate Hannon, (pictured) the borough council’s executive member for leisure, community and culture, said: “There’s lots going on, so why not pop down and get involved? Whatever your age there’s something on offer for you to enjoy to help you shape up for the year ahead!’
