A NEW calendar has been created – using artwork designed by youngsters who attend Warrington’s children’s centres
The 81 entries came from children’s centres across the borough and were judged by young people working as family service managers.
The winning calendar artwork was designed by Tayler-Leigh Hobbuck, aged five, from Woodlands Children’s Centre , AJ Schofield, aged two, from Sankey Children’s Centre, Jenson King, aged two, from Sunshine Children’s Centre and Georgia Breeze, aged 20 months, from Lymm Children’s Centre.
The winners have had their artwork displayed on the calendar and received an art and design pack.
Calendars are available now at children’s centres or from the families information service on 01925 443131.
Cllr Colin Froggatt, the borough council’s executive member for children and young people said: “It’s great to see the children’s art work displayed on this lovely calendar.”
