LYMM Lions were able to distribute more than 150 food parcels within the community at Lymm as a result of the annual “tinning appeal.”
In addition, they were also aboe to donate about 300 tins of good to WODAC, a charity which provides hotel meals to the homeless at Christmas.
A spokesman for the Lions said: “We would like to thank the many volunteers of all ages who helped collect, sort and deliver the parcels.
“Without their help and hard work we would not have been able to succeed with our event.”
