Jewellery stolen in house raid

POLICE at Warrington are trying to trace distinctive items of jewellery stolen from a house in the town.
Items including necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings, along with electrical items and cash cards were taken in the burglary on December 3.
The burglary took place between 7.30pm and 11.40pm at a property in the Callands Road area.
A short time later an attempt to withdraw cash from the victim’s account was made in the Merseyside area.
The stolen jewellery includes gold and diamond earrings, necklaces and rings and ornate gold bracelets.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the burglary or has any information in relation to the identity of the offenders to get in touch by calling 101.
Officers are also urging anyone who is offered jewellery similar to the items pictured (right) to get in touch.
