First snowfall lands as predicted!

THE first snowfall of the winter arrived in Warrington today, as predicted by a warrington-worldwide reader more than a week ago, providing a

festive scene as many office workers prepare for their Christmas

outings.
Weather forecasters had predicted sleet and rain and the snow which has arrived is not expected to last long although odds on a white Christmas have been slashed dramatically.
warrington-worldwide readers have been attempting to predict the first snowfall since December 8th on the readers’ forum – with regular poster “Dizzy” predicting the correct date.
