A £5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of people responsible for an armed robbery at Warrington.
The reward has been offered by Spar Stores following a raid on their shop in Cinnamon Lane, Fearnhead, last month.
Two staff members were tied up by the offenders during the incident when three masked men armed with crow bars went into the store at around 9.45pm on Friday November 25.
The men stole money and all the cigarettes on display in the shop and tied up two women shop workers, locking them in a store room before leaving.
Police believe they made their getaway in a white Ford Iveco type van and drove off onto Cinnamon Lane towards Perth Close.
One of the offenders was 6ft 1 inch tall and of slight build. Another 5ft 7-8 inches tall and the third was 5ft 6 inches tall. All three men were wearing black pants, a black jacket, black gloves and black balaclavas covering their faces.
Anyone with any information is asked to call DC Simon Fisher at Cheshire Police on 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

  1. That’s good news but I want to see a commitment and changes that will improve the security of staff in my local store. The staff are approachable and very hard working. They provide a key service to the community not only in the goods that they sell but also by being a friend face to many people especially the elderly. My views are well know and I am about to launch a petition to show SPAR just how muchtheir staff are appreciated and the strength of feeling in the community for their safety and well being.
