The 26TH annual Christmas Party for retired people organised by school teacher Brian Malone takes place at Culcheth High School on Thursday.
Mr Malone, chemistry teacher at the school, will organise 50 students who will set out and decorate the school hall and prepared food for 60 or so guests.
A variety of party games will be organised and entertainment will be provided by students singing carols and numbers from the school’s recently performed musical “We will Rock You.”
There will also be instrumental pieces from students studying in the music department.
A school spokesperson said: “From previous years’ experience it is difficult to know who enjoys the day most, the guests, the students or Mr Malone!”
The event was supported by local businesses including Taylor Business Park who donated £100 towards the event.
