DONORS supporting a Warrington charity have the chance to double their money thanks to The Big Give fundraising campaign.
Deafness Support Network (DSN) is celebrating reaching the final stage of the national campaign and is asking individuals and businesses for support.
The Big Give campaign gives charities the chance to double their fundraising total this Christmas with matched funding. The charity says this will have a big impact on the services offered to deaf and hard of hearing people via its offices across Cheshire.
Up until Friday, all online donations made through the Big Give website to DSN are eligible for matched funding.
Money raised during the Christmas Challenge week will go directly towards funding its Family Tactics service, providing tailored support in the homes of families who have a family member (child or adult) who is deaf or hard of hearing.
Angela Burrows, fundraising manager, said: “A little can go a long way; if you are considering donating to DSN for the first time, why not do it during the Christmas Challenge week when your donation can be matched £1 for £1.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to make your generosity stretch even further; up to twice its original value. Donations kicked off yesterday so please be on your marks to donate and spread the word, tell your friends, colleagues and contacts about this exciting opportunity to double their donations too.”
