THE Christmas lights have been officially “switched on” at the village of Croft, near Warrington.
An illuminated tree and additional lighting were switched on by Manchester United mascot Fred the Red on the car park opposite the Horseshoe pub.
Children from Croft Primary School and St Lewis’ RC Primary School sang carols.
The lights are provided every year by Croft Parish Council.
