Road closure
GRAMMAR School Road, Latchford, Warrington will be subject to closures from 9.30am to 3.30pm next Tuesday between Knutsford Road and the entrace to the Bridge Shopping Centre car park. BT engineers will be working on telegraph pole. Alternative route will be via Station Road and Knutsford Road.

Dog show
A DOG show is being held at Orford Park, Warrington tomorrow (Sunday). There will be a range of categories, including cutest puppy, best trick and dog which resembles its owner. The event starts at 12.30pm and there is a £1 entry fee.

Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 1, 2, 7 and 15. No-one claimed the jackpot prize, which will be rolled over to next week. A £25 consolation prize was awarded to a hospital visitor.

Patrick retires
LOLLIPOP man Patrick Gough, aged 86, has retired after seven years of helping youngsters across the road at Christ Church CE Primary School.

Autumn fair
AN autumn fair in aid of the Christian Aid Disaster and Emergency Fund take place at Bold Street Methodist Church, Warrington today (Saturday), from 10.30am to 1.30pm.
