Burglary at sandwich shop

POLICE today sought the help of the public following a burglary at a sandwich shop in Warrington.
Two men entered the Subway shop in Liverpool Road between 1am and 1.35am on Friday, October 21.
They gained access by forcing open the rear door and once inside the shop, it is believed they used a power saw to remove the door of the safe, stealing a quantity of cash from inside.
The offenders then left via the back door and left the scene.
They are described as white with short dark hair. One was of slim build – the other stockier. Both were wearing tracksuits and trainers.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to call 0845 458 0000.
